Why I like SilentShipping.~

My second YGO Shipping publish after Anti BlueShipping. I enjoy writing these, I'm not an artist so I can not draw these views, but I do enjoy writing them. I do not own the YGO series, no copyright intended and I do not intend to flame/provoke shippers. All comments are made as unbiased as possible, no hate intended.

• Serenity Wheeler I am 99% was raised in a sheltered life.
• People say Serenity is clingy, but she is no less clingy than Mokuba and the two siblings can relate.
• Serenity and Joey were separated at a young age, due to their abusive father divorcing their mother.
• You try surviving and passing middle school while you're going blind/basically blind. Huh?
  

• Not to mention Serenity in season 0 was an extremely ill girl whose doctor didn't care if she died, long as he played golf or season 1 where Serenity was going to lose her eye sight unless she got surgery.

• As well as not seeing Joey in six years, it is obvious she is a bit clingy to him. However Serenity is not overly clingy, she does spend time with Tristan, Duke, Mai and Tea.

• Seto and Serenity have both had a name change, with Seto being adopted into the Kaiba family and Serenity took on her mothers maiden name.

• Due to all of this, Serenity, Seto, Joey and Mokuba all have middle ground they could build up on.

• Seto seems to take life for granted, workaholic and only cares for Mokuba. Serenity appreciates life to the full, does her best and cares deeply for her family and her friends. Thus I think they would be a good match and Serenity would make a good partner.

• The main key to this is we know nothing of Serenity minus her parents, Joey and her childhood issues. No hobbies, likes, dislikes or what she likes in a male. It is all down to assumption. So her liking Seto is plausible.

• Serenity was only thirteen during the original series, so any shipping's with her should be three years later anyway, which gives her three years to be noticed by Seto or even get to know him. Serenity and Mokuba might even go to the same school, become best friends for the past three years and that would be an opening. Seto would never be cruel to someone Mokuba cares about.

• Tristan and Duke smothered Serenity. They are no good for her. Only liked her for being "pretty".

• Don't forget in season 0 Tristan liked Miho, even when Serenity existed. Not good for her, at all.

• While Mai and Tea tried to help her be independent.

• Seto would help Serenity be independent, he wouldn't baby her, but he would assist her.

• I know people say Joey and Seto hate each other, and it is true, but they /could/ become friends.
• Why?
• Joey grew up with an abusive father, Seto grew up with an abusive adoptive father.
• Both love their younger sibling and would die for them.
• Seto was raised to be the top dog, Joey was raised to be the mutt.
• There is some mutual ground.

• Serenity I think sees Duke and Tristan like brothers.

• I don't understand why people say Serenity is weak?

• She cried only twice, once in Joey's duel with a complete psycho and once when she though Tristan was dead. Don't forget Nezbitt bullied and targeted her the whole duel and she DID pull through. And when she took off her bandages, to see for the first time? First thing she did was "Save Joey!".

• She "can't duel". She did amazing against Nezbitt and knew next to nothing of how to play. Not her fault Tristan pretended to know everything and taught her nothing, not to mention while they were gossiping about "What if they duel us", no one checked if she knew how to duel. I thought she did really well.
  

• Serenity has a quiet brave heart, a lot like Kisara had in my eyes. I do like the idea of Serenity being the blue eyes and becoming a secretary at Kaiba Corp since January last year. (Aged 15, but hey, screw the rules.)

• So with all of this in mind, ignoring the last two sentenced of my "head canon", I think the couple could happen.

• Don't get me wrong; I like 99% of Yugioh shippings.

• But I respect people who do ship ones I dislike.
  

• So I like agreeing to disagree. But now everyone knows why I ship it and no I wont not ship it.
